This page explains what personal information Force Builders Ltd collects through forcebuilders.uk, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. We are a building company, not a data business. We only keep what we need to answer your enquiry and run your project.

What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address and whatever you write in the message. If you tell us about your property, your address or your budget, we keep that too.
- Phone calls and emails: your number or email address and the details you give us about the work.
- Website usage: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics tells us which pages people visit, roughly where they come from and what device they use. We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies. Neither tells us who you are. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not buy contact lists and we do not sell or rent your details to anyone.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, visit your property and prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To carry out the work if you hire us, and to keep invoices and project records. The legal basis is the contract and our legal obligations (tax and accounting).
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it. The legal basis is your consent to analytics cookies.
Who we share it with
Only with people who need it to do the job: our email and website hosting providers, Google and Ahrefs (for analytics), and, if you become a client, subcontractors, architects, engineers or building control where your project requires it. We don’t share your details for marketing.
Some of these providers, such as Google, may process data outside the UK. When that happens, it is covered by the safeguards required under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
If an enquiry doesn’t turn into a project, we delete it within 24 months. If you become a client, we keep project and financial records for six years after the work is finished, because UK tax rules require it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- send you a copy of the information we hold about you,
- correct anything that’s wrong,
- delete your information, unless we have to keep it by law,
- stop or limit how we use it,
- withdraw consent to analytics cookies at any time.
Just email info@forcebuilders.uk. We’ll reply within one month and it costs nothing.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We’d appreciate the chance to sort it out first, though.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
