The project began with the demolition of the existing outdated rear structure, making way for a larger, modern extension tailored to our client’s needs. Our team managed every aspect of the build, ensuring smooth execution and top-quality craftsmanship at every stage.
Scope of Work Included:
- Groundworks & Foundations: Careful excavation and preparation of deep foundations for the new, larger structure.
- Drainage Installation: Complete replacement of the drainage system, including new internal drainage within the extension and external rainwater drainage.
- Structural Work:
- Bricklaying of new external and internal walls.
- Installation of steel beams to support the roof structure.
- Flat Roof Construction: We constructed a modern flat roof with two beautifully integrated skylights, providing plenty of natural light into the new living space.
- Insulation & Flooring:
- Floor insulation installed in multiple stages for maximum energy efficiency.
- Steel mesh reinforced concrete slab, followed by a DPM membrane, thermal insulation, and final screed layer.
- Interior Work:
- Plasterboarding and plaster finish throughout.
- New flooring panels installed for a clean and contemporary look.
- Exterior Finishings:
- Installation of fascia and guttering systems to manage water drainage.
- High-end detailing to complement the modern design.
